DPC Strategic Workforce Plan

The DPC Strategic Workforce Plan outlines the priorities and strategies required to support our vision of being an influential, empowered, and safe place to work. It focuses on building a diverse, skilled, and agile workforce capable of delivering the department’s objectives, while also identifying key performance metrics, risks, and opportunities.

The plan is aligned with the department’s Strategic Plan and whole-of-government workforce initiatives, including An Even Better Public Sector Strategy 2024–2028. It supports our commitment to making a positive difference for Queenslanders now and into the future.

The plan is structured around three key objectives—work, workforce, and workplace:

  • Work: Our people are supported in their work to lead the public sector and provide the best advice to deliver outcomes for Queenslanders.
  • Workforce: Our workforce is highly capable and influential and led by strong, future-focused leaders.
  • Workplace: Our workplace is safe, diverse, inclusive and supports the needs of our people to enable them to thrive.
